ITE1: PC Hardware & Software divide two semesters, ITE1: PC Hardware & Software 1-A and last 1-B. This course covers the fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts. Students who complete this course will be able to describe the internal components of a computer, assemble a computer system, install an operating system, and troubleshoot using system tools and diagnostic software. Students will also be able to connect to the internet and share resources in a network environment. New topics included in this version include laptops and portable devices, wireless connectivity, security, safety and environmental issues, and communication skills.

Hand-on lab activities will continue to be an essential element of the course. In support of this, virtual learning tools are integrated into this course. The Virtual Laptop and Virtual Desktop are stand-alone tools designed to supplement classroom learning and provide an interactive “hand-on” experience in learning environments with limited physical equipment.

    Statistical for Computer I  

This course introduces students to some basic concepts of statistics. During the course, the two main parts, descriptive statistics and probability, will be introduced. During the course, the probability concepts are introduced because inferential statistics depends heavily on probability theory and they serve as the basis of the course Statistics II.

Students will be introduced to descriptive statistics in details. The way we organize data, Frequency Distribution and Stem-and-Leaf Display, will be discussed. It also discusses about graphs that we present data. Measures of centre and variation, which is called the way to describe data verbally, will be discussed. Some probability concepts such as objective and subjective probability will be discussed. Some specific discrete probability distributions such as Binomial Probability Distribution, Hypergeometric Probability Distribution, and Poisson Probability Distribution will be studied. Also one specific continuous probability distribution, Normal Probability Distribution, will be discussed.

    Statistical for Computer II  
    This course introduces students to some advance concepts of statistics. During the course, the two main parts, Inferential Statistics and Applications in SPSS, will be introduced. During the course, the software SPSS is introduced in order to lead student to do statistics for the large scale of data because doing statistics manually is possible for only a small amount of data.

During the course, we will learn one chapter and apply it in SPSS for every chapter that is covered in this course. We will start by reviewing about descriptive statistics and probability briefly so that we can apply it in SPSS. After that, the students will be introduced to Sampling Method, Estimation of Population Parameters, How to Choose An Appropriate Sample Size, Testing About Population Mean And Proportion. Comparing two Population Means and Proportion, Analysis of Variance, and Linear Regression and Correlation are also discussed.
    Java Programming  
    Basic Java Programming Language, in 1st semester. This part contains the topics that train the students to know how to write the source program, compile program, and run program, how to declare variable with data type, control statement, create class, create object, create method, interface, inheritance, exception handling, etc.  
    Internet Programming  
    This subject contains the topics that train the students to know how to design the Home Page and other web pages include: Text Formatting, Page Layout, Image Using, Page Linking, List Creating, Table Creating, Frame Creating, Form Designing, Multimedia, Cascading Style Sheet, etc.  
    Advanced Visual Basic.net  
    This course performs OOP, File System, and Databases. You can designs database application, and using ADO.NET, data source (Ms. Access, SQL Server 2005, 2000), Crystal report with VB application  when complete this course. You are Database Developer.

    CCNA1 divide two semesters, the first CCNA1-A and the last CCNA1-B. It follows the steps planning, analysis, design, implement, and support the new system software (small or large scale) and especially the role of system Analyst as well.
